In 1978 we bought our first
pony a Welsh . She was followed bij a Forester an Arabian and a Connemara.
The children grew up and the ponies were replaced by KWPN horses. We had
jumping and dressage horses for years ridden by our daughter and a family
horse for ourselves. In 2001 our familyhorse died and we decided to bring
the pony we still had ( the children did'nt want us to sell him) to a farm
for further retirement between other horses.
It was a little bit strange without the horses but on the other hand it was nice not to be obliged to feed, to clean stables etc Then we discovered the Irish Cob ( Tinker) Horses with a wonderful character and very easy to keep. On the 25th of june 2003 we bought Heather and her twin foals. Heather is with us for a month now . She had'nt learn anything before she joined us. Now we can ride her ! She is very easy and sweet and has a lot of confidence Har foals loves to be cuddled. They also are very easy to train. We ary very happy with these horses.
